EASTER REVISION COURSEGUIDE

A Level Business Studies

Aims

1. To revise all major concepts in the core syllabus of all of
the major examining boards

2. To bolster students’ exam technique

3. To clarify important areas of theory

4. To practise past paper questions under timed conditions in order to develop skills and highlight areas that need improvement

Course Design

The course is designed to meet the core requirements laid down in the specifications of all the major UK examining boards. and is supported by a comprehensive Easter Revision pack.  These include past paper questions broken down into key topic areas and a root and branch review of definitions and terminology.

Daily Programme

The five day course is very tightly structured in order to cover as much of the course as possible.  Each day starts with a test on terminology and short introduction to the key areas of the syllabus.  At this stage the students will have the opportunity to refine their understanding.  For each area of the course the students will then go through a set of short answer, data response, case study and essay questions.  These will be done in close co-operation with the teacher in order to develop exam technique. The day will be finish with a review of both the skills and theory covered which will be tested on the following morning.
