Students at Ashbourne will be privileged to have a great amount of individual attention dedicated solely to monitoring their academic progress and preparing them for examinations.

As part of Ashbourne's commitment to individual attention, each student in both the Lower and the Upper Sixth is allocated a Personal Tutor who is responsible for their academic and pastoral well being. The Personal Tutors include both the Director and Assistant Director of Studies. Students will meet with their personal tutor for at least two hours each week.

The success of students tenure at Ashbourne is largely dependent on their examination results. It is these examinations which will determine what students will pursue after Ashbourne. Teachers will have helped students learn and understand; they will also have given valuable advice on how to tackle examinations.
