Shaheena has worked at Ashbourne since May 2005, where she started as the Examinations and Finance Officer. More recently she has been deployed as the Admissions and Administration Manager. She was born in Mauritius and has traveled to many different parts of the world including Hong Kong, Saudi Arabia and Malaysia. She takes great interest in shopping and fashion in general, especially shoes, of which she has over 100 pairs. She loves to read, and could quite easily be found in a Starbucks, reading one of her favourite novels. |

Having spent her past three years as an international student, An knows what it is like to study far from home as an overseas student at a college in London. Her recent experience of taking A Level’s, especially the application process, has made her fully aware of common concerns of students. An has previously held executive positions in international voluntary projects and has worked as a professional copywriter for the British Council in Vietnam. Besides work and studies, she is also a book lover, a dance enthusiast and a Manchester United supporter. In addition to her role of Admissions Assistant at Ashbourne, An is also studying Economics at LSE. |

Hussein works under the supervision and guidance of Fabio Carpene. His duties involve general maintenance tasks as well as assisting the Administration team. He is passionate about both reading and writing poetry. He is also planning to walk from London to Rome next year. He remains unashamed of his loyalty to The Arsenal. |

A son of two Italian parents, Fabio has worked at Ashbourne since September 2005. He was initially employed as a painter and decorator, but his ability to solve complicated problems encouraged the Principal to offer him an administrative role. His current role involves being responsible for the day-to-day running of the premises and communication systems. He also has a key role in the promotion of Ashbourne through the use of the Internet. He has a keen affection for Macs and new technology, which has helped Ashbourne develop and improve its IT and Network infrastructure. He is very passionate about football, and has played for semi-professional and professional teams in the UK. He is also a coach of an under 9’s football team, which includes one of his four children. |

Trang obtained her degree in BSc Economics & MSc Social Policy and Development at LSE in 2007. She joined Ashbourne in early 2009 as Finance Officer. She has always had a strong interest in current events, and looks forward to watching the BBC news to keep her up to date. She likes to swim and has a keen interest in listening to music. |

Hannah Martin

After graduating from King’s College London with a degree in Music and spending the summer working for a global civil engineering company, Hannah joined the Admin team at Ashbourne as Admissions Assistant. She has an eclectic taste in music ranging from opera to ska, and has been in a number of ensembles including a classical orchestra and a jazz band. She loves traveling and experiencing other cultures, and is planning a trip through the Far East and South America. |

Roger Parrott

Roger is the Examinations Officer at Ashbourne. He graduated from Warwick University and taught for 21 years in Worcestershire before doing a post-graduate course at the Webber Douglas Academy of Dramatic Art. Since then he has not only continued tutoring, but has also acted in provincial theatres, for the RSC and in various television programmes and commercials. He has officiated for Ashbourne’s external examinations for the last ten years. |

Tamara is the College Administrator and the first person to greet you when arriving at Ashbourne. Although you’ll find her sitting comfortably behind the front desk at reception, recently she could also be found behind a microphone, where she presented the Breakfast show at BANG Radio for a year. Her main passion is drama which she has been practicing since a child. Tamara carried this interest through to higher education and graduated in 2008 from Loughborough University with a degree in Drama with English. Since leaving university she has worked in several administrative roles, and has also been pursuing her acting. In her spare time, Tamara is rehearsing for a play called Lift Me Up, which you can catch her performing throughout June in London. |

Maryane is the Student Liaison Officer and an Admin Assistant. She is a graduate of English with Film from King’s College, London. Having worked as a student ambassador for King’s College, University College London and the National Theatre Education Programme, Maryane is enthusiastic about inspiring young people to achieve success through education. In her free time, she enjoys visiting the theatre and sampling different cuisine in London’s best restaurants. Maryane also loves travelling and hopes to one day travel the world to carry out missionary work. |

Veronica is Lee Kirby's Personal Assistant. Previous to this, she was the marketing coordinator at BANG Radio where she worked after graduating in Arts Management from the University of Leeds in 2008. Her background is in the music business, working in marketing and promotions for several music companies including Universal, Barfly and Metropolis since the age of 18. Music is Veronica’s passion and guaranteed to get her talking! In her free time, she puts this to use by hosting and producing a weekly specialist Drum & Bass show on BANG Radio. She also writes for several websites and blogs about urban music and culture. |

Lucy is an Administrator Assistant at Ashbourne. She graduated from John Moores Liverpool University in 2008 with a BSc (hons) in Zoology. Lucy is passionate about conservation, but particularly the vital role that education plays in the future of the planet and the species that reside on it. Her goal is to one day run a programme which links her enthusiasm for nature and education in a form that will get young people excited and involved in making a difference in the world. Lucy enjoys going dancing, spending time with friends and family and shopping (including food shopping!) |
