In this course, students will cover the basic scientific disciplines in animal science and other branches of biology and then a range of modules in animal, microbial and agricultural science. Students may often do a research project chosen from a list of topics, for example: maternal recognition of pregnancy, effect of companion animals on modifying blood pressure in humans, and behavioral stereotypes in horses.
