This course provides students with the opportunity to enter a range of degree programmes within the School of Biological Sciences. During the Foundation year, students will study modules in Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics of Biology and Applications of Biology.
Structure
The course covers topics which are at the forefront of modern thinking on how the human body functions and how it interacts with its environment. This includes the molecular and cellular basis of human life and especially the co-ordination and control of the whole organism by nervous, endocrine and muscular systems.
