Ashbourne offers education to students usually between the ages of 14 and 20. The college offers A Level, GCSE and Pre-GCSE education.
A Level
Our A level programme is overseen by John Wilson, ably assisted by Breanne Grantham and James Wykes. These courses are usually for students between the ages of 16 and 18, who are looking to use the A level qualification to assist their application to UK universities. Students usually take 3 or 4 subjects for A level study. Click here to find out further information about the A level subjects on offer to Ashbourne students.
GCSE
Our GCSE and Pre-GCSE programme (Middle School) is overseen by Rachel Teasdale. These courses are generally a pre-requisite to A level education. Students will usually take between 8 and 10 GCSE subjects. Ashbourne offers a group of core subjects, which all students must take. In addition, students can then choose a few more subjects from a variety of different options. Click here to find out further information about the GCSE subjects on offer to Ashbourne students.
Easter
Ashbourne offers Easter revision courses at both GCSE and A level standard. Our aim at Easter is to motivate students to strive for the highest grades at A level and GCSE, and to develop Independence and self-reliance. Rather than working passively and unsupervised at home, students who enroll on A level or GCSE courses are directed in their revision in small groups.
