As a private college, Ashbourne is expensive because of its restriction in class sizes, its provision of a much greater number of contact hours, the unrestricted opportunity to select from a vast array of subjects at A level and its selective enrolment. Nevertheless, the college offers many bursaries each year to students with exceptional talent and/or potential.
