Thai Origin
Thai Origin is a small Thai restaurant located just off High Street Kensington on Kensington Church Street. Their set lunch menu is affordable and enjoyable. The place is highly recommended for people who like good quality, authentic Thai food. The staff are always friendly and welcoming.
The Blue Lagoon
Further down the High Street towards Olympia, The Blue Lagoon is a large Thai restaurant. Until about six months ago the food was average, however, they have greatly improved their quality now and it is well worth a visit. The décor of the restaurant is eclectic and different; they have a fountain and a fish pond inside! The service is decent and you get complimentary prawn crackers at your table.
Thai at The Churchill Arms
Possibly the best Thai food in London, The Thai restaurant at the back of the Churchill Arms (a pub on Kensington Church Street) is also among the cheapest. All the meals are £6.50. This place is highly recommended if you are looking for a real Thai experience. The place is constantly busy and thriving; every dish is exceptional but if you are feeling adventurous you could try one of the incredibly spicy dishes – this will almost certainly change your life forever. |
