Psychology is the scientific study of behaviour and mental activity, and includes topics such as: the way we judge one another, form relationships and behave in groups; the way the brain perceives and uses information; and the way those processes develop from birth to adulthood. By collecting information about what people do, think, perceive and feel, students can try to answer questions about human behaviour and development.
