At both A level and GCSE, Ashbourne offers scholarships to highly academically able students who would otherwise be unable to afford to take up a place. There is a limit to the number of scholarships, which can be allocated, and in practice, these scholarships are only offered to students that have outstanding academic ability in combination with an interesting personality, strong level of English and a desire to obtain a place at one of the UK's top universities.

Students should note that the maximum scholarship we can usually offer is 50%, which means that the tuition fees will certainly exceed £8,500 per annum. If students wish to apply for a scholarship then they should complete the Ashbourne admissions process (Overseas student, UK student). When sending through documentation, students should indicate that they wish to apply for a scholarship as well as the amount of scholarship they are looking to apply for. If the applicant wants to study Drama and Theatre studies, then they will be asked to attend an audition.
