This course is aimed at students who wish to focus on both the vocational and the cultivation of an individual interpretation of personal craft practice. Students will be expected to take an energetic and creative approach to a range of craft skills, materials and technologies developing a high level of professional competence. There will be the opportunity to develop traditional craftsmanship in areas such as raising, planishing, box making, making settings and findings, setting stones as well as researching new technologies.
