Ashbourne allows students to take any combination of subjects. Each student can take up to 5 AS subjects, although a maximum of 4 is usually suggested. Whatever the case, the price of the course does not change if the number of subjects increases. There are over 30 different subjects to choose from (please see list below):
Arts and Media – Art, Drama, Fashion, Film Studies, Graphic Design, History of Art, Media Studies and Photography

Finance and Computing - Accounting, Business Studies, Computing, Economics and ICT

Languages - French, German, Japanese, Latin and Spanish

Traditional Sciences - Biology, Chemistry, Further Mathematics, Mathematics and Physics
Humanities - Classical Civilisation, English Literature, English Language, History and Philosophy

Social Sciences - Geography, Government & Politics, Law, Psychology, Religious Studies and Sociology
If a student decides, that a month into their course, that they no longer wish to take the subject, Ashbourne is always happy to look into the possibility of that student switching subjects. The only reasons we would not suggest that switch are either; the timetable does not permit the change or we feel that the new subject chosen would not be a good option for the student.
