Timings
The timings are laid down by the examination boards, not by Ashbourne and so cannot be varied. If students have a clash, i.e. two different subjects at the same time, or that they have more than a total of four hours including any extra time in one session, they must tell the College, so that alterations to timetable can be made.
Mornings:
When traveling into Ashbourne students should allow more time than normal
Students should be present at the venue by 08:45 at the very latest for a prompt 09:00 start. Even if students are only doing the second or third paper out of three, they must still be on time. If, for reasons beyond control e.g. a tube breakdown or illness, a student cannot be at the venue by 08:45 they should notify Ashbourne as soon as possible by telephone (020 7937 3858). Lateness can cause the examination to be missed completely. When arriving at the venue, students will be directed to the examination hall and should quietly enter.
Afternoons:
Students should be present at the venue by 12:45 at the very latest for a prompt 13:00 start, otherwise, it is exactly the same as for the mornings.
