Ashbourne’s A level Philosophy Easter Revision courses run in morning or afternoon sessions over five days and are taught by Michael Peat. Moral Philosophy – normative ethical theories, applications, metaethics (linear syllabus)
A level Easter Revision topics covered
Ethics – Utilitarianism, Kantian deontological ethics, Aristotle’s virtue ethics, ethical language, cognitivism, non-cognitivism.
Philosophy of Mind – mind–body problem, dualism, materialism, logical/analytical behaviourism, mind–brain type identity theory, functionalism, eliminative materialism.
