Ashbourne A level college in London has always nurtured some of the brightest talent, and this past academic year has been no exception!
After months of hard work and planning, this year's even was a massive success! A huge congratulations to everyone who scooped an award at the End of Year Awards last month! See below for winners and pictures!
Humanities Awards
Congratulations to Lidia Makarova who took the gold award this year. She was closely followed by Anastasia Angeli, who took silver, and Alina Antanova who came away with the bronze.
Language award winners
Head of Faculty Alberto Lado Rey was throughly impressed with these ladies this year! Well done to Anna Giulia who took silver and Kerry Ashworth who took the bronze.

English Awards
Well done to Siannae Anderson who was awarded the gold English prize and Hoang Lan Nguyen who took silver.
Art Awards
As an artist himself, Lawrie knows talent when he sees it. Well done to Lidia Makarova for winning the gold award for Art this year. Lidia went on to exhibit her work at this year's Leighton House Museum exhibition. Congratulations to Daphne Paget and Eva Risueno who took the silver and bronze prizes. Joe and Maria Goad got a special mention on the night for their outstanding effort.
Maths Awards
Congratulations to Yanni She for winning the gold award for Maths this year, who was closely followed by Jiaming Ning and Zige Zhang, who took silver and bronze awards. All three students represented Ashbourne College at the UKMT Maths Challenge in November, and did us proud!
Natural Science and Music Awards
Congratulations to Khadija Owusu who received a gold award for Natural Science this year, followed by Danial Rahimi who took silver. Both students have received offers to study medicine next year. An additional congratulations to Benedict Tso who took the bronze for Music. An incredibly talented bunch! Oscar Newman got a special mention on the night for working incredibly hard and showing TRUE Asher spirit!
Multimedia and Social Science Awards
A huge congratulations to Christy Simanjuntak who took the gold award for Government and Politics. Well done to Ksenia Pominova who won silver for Media and Sharon-Lin Harwood who took bronze for her efforts in Psychology.
Finance and Computing Awards
Congrats to Milun Kumar who scooped gold for his efforts in Finance this year! Milun also won an award for 'Best dressed student' - if you've seen him around college you'll know why!
An additional congratulations to Katlego Lekoko and Nadia Haledi who won silver and bronze awards, but were unable to make the ceremony on the night.
