These conferences will provide up-to-date information on the application and admissions procedure at both Oxford and Cambridge. Great for students wishing to gain information across all subject areas, and will also give an insight into student life.

If you're doing Further Maths for A level, but not sure what you want to do at university, or you're gifted at Maths, but not sure what your next steps will be, this event is for you.

Statistics Taster Day - Wednesday 8 April 2015
(Year 12, UK schools)
Organised by Oxford's Department of Statistics, this taster day is perfect for high-achieving students* interested in studying Mathematics or Applied Mathematics after their A levels
Limited to three places per school. Independent schools are welcome to apply, but will be accommodated only if spaces available.
*Students should be on track to receive at least A*AA at A-level or 39 points with Higher Level Maths at IB
Women in Computer Science Day - Monday 20 April 2015
(Year 10 & 11, women, UK schools)
It's time to raise awareness of what Computer Science is at university level, and meet women (and men) who work in the Computer Science field. If you're not sure what Computer Science is, this is the best place to find out! Ideal for students with flair for Maths.

This is not a university-wide open day, just the Computer Science and the Maths Institute.
