Here's how it all played out....
Team line up:
Ali - Goalkeeper
Illya - Defender
Barry - Defender
Marwan - Midfielder
Michael - Midfielder
Naeto - Midfielder
Yobel - Midfielder
Djordje - Striker
Both teams went into the game with an unbeaten run, with CIC top of the table on 9 points having won all of their first 3 games, and the Allstars having won 2 and drawn 1.
In what coaches Fabio and Steve called "the worst performance of the season", somehow the Allstars came away with a huge win.
The Allstars went 1-0 up through Naeto after some great inter passing which led to an accurate strike into the back of the net. It quickly became 2-0 when Michael Ogiri, player of the season so far, cut inside onto his right and unleashed a Cristiano Ronaldo like pile driver into the back of the net. Naeto got his 2nd soon after with another neat finish, but a bit of bad defensive play allowed CIC to sneak a goal totally against the run of play.
The Allstars came in at half time and got a telling off from Steve about the lack lustre performance in the first half, telling individuals that they were not performing to their usual standards.

Ashbourne College Allstars coaches Fabio and Steve

Allstars coaches Fabio and Steve had a few things to say about performances on the night!

Shortly after the restart, Djordje, the Allstars top scorer, finished neatly after a brilliant turn and strike. Soon enough, 4 became 5 as Naeto grabbed his hat trick to make it 5-1 to the Allstars with another accurate strike leaving the keeper with no chance.
The last quarter of an hour became a sloppy affair of poorly placed passes and lack of desire, with bursts of decent passages of play. Naeto went on to grab his 4th of the game after another brilliant strike. This was after he hit the post 5 minutes earlier with a rasping drive from distance.
CIC grabbed a 2nd in the last few minutes in what was a carbon copy of their 1st to make it 6-2.
Overall the coaches were disappointed in the display and professionalism of the team, but were happy to get the win.
Here's what CIC had to say over on Twitter the day after the match...

The Allstars have no game next week, but return with a game against rivals MPW after half term.
