Ashbourne Celebrates amazing achievement in Mathematical Challenge

After a long day of problem-solving, Ashbourne is immensely proud of our students Adele, Qiran, Joonhee and Yushang who participated in this month's Mathematical Challenge, coming in 18th place out of 85 entrants nationwide. An amazing achievement for the National Final. Ashbourne has proven once again that it remains one of London's leading maths schools.
Originally, 1300 schools from across the country entered the competition. Our students came second in the regional heat, and then 18th in the national final. They have been practising tirelessly since their invitation to the national final was announced. Giving up two lunchtimes per week, with an extra two sessions in the final week before the competition. Great support was offered by Annie and Zakki in some of the training sessions. But all in all a great set of students with truly natural mathematical ability.
We would like to congratulate our students for their determination and achievement.
