ASHBOURNE STUDENT NEWSLETTER – 04/02/2014

Hello Ashers! Here are some exciting events for the coming months:

PUSH talk!

Push, the independent university guide, is sending a representative to talk to all our AS students on Tuesday 11th February from 1pm to 3.30pm. The talk will tackle how to choose a university, and will be followed  by an interactive session 'Employability Skills: Selling Yourself'.

The Push talks are always extremely useful for AS students; we look forward to seeing you all there on Tuesday!

Trip to the University of East Anglia

We are organising a trip to the University of East Anglia for AS students on the week following half-term. The precise day is still TBC, but you will get the chance to visit the campus, hear more about student life and life at UEA, student finance, and more! Make sure you don't miss this great opportunity!
Parents' Evenings
Our next Parents Evening will be on Tuesday 11th March for AS students, and Thursday 20th March for A1/A2 and Middle School.
All your parents/guardians are most welcome to attend, but please let Sheetal or Astrid know as soon as possible!

Over 30 of the world’s top universities, from both the UK and abroad, will be exhibiting at the fair looking to talk with students interested in higher education. There will also be seminars on topics such as applying to a top UK institution, studying abroad and funding/scholarships advice.
