ASHBOURNE STUDENT NEWSLETTER – 25/03/2014

Good afternoon Ashers! It is now the last week before the Easter Break; we hope that you have all registered for the Easter Revision lessons!
UCAS Days
We are organising two UCAS days in June for all AS students: Wednesday the 11th June will be an information session/workshop at Heythrop College. You will learn everything there is to know about choosing the right degree, applying to universities, writing a personal statement,...
Thursday the 12th June is a visit to a university (more details to follow).
Those two days are extremely important, and we expect to see you all there, so mark the days on your calendars!
 
There are places available on numerous taster courses taking place at universities in and around London. 
Places are allocated on a first-come first-served basis so please apply as soon as possible via the website .
The university taster courses provide a great opportunity for year 12 students to try university and a specific subject area before they apply. Most of the university taster courses last a day and are all free to attend.
Summer Term
Please note that the start of the Summer term is Tuesday 22nd April. We therefore expect to see you all punctually in your classes on that day!
