WEST SIDE STORY is broadly accepted as the finest piece of Musical Theatre writing of the 20th century  AND the lucky students at Ashbourne College have the opportunity to take an evening off A Level homework and enjoy what promises to be the best show in town!

The production at Sadler's Wells has completely sold out BUT Ashbourne has managed to organise a limited number of discounted tickets (AND SOME OF THEM ARE STILL UP FOR GRABS!!!) This is an exciting opportunity for Ashbourne A Level college students and staff to enter the world of passion, conflict and romance on the streets of 1950s Upper West Side New York.  (For a sneak preview )

In this energetic version of the tragedy, the Capulets are represented fiery Puerto Rican "Sharks" who's feud with the white-American gang, "The Jets" (Montagues) unfolds while our 'Star crossed lovers' Tony and Maria search for "Somewhere" to live and love in peace. This iconic show simply must be seen at least once in a lifetime, not only for the passionate music, timeless choreography and stylish storytelling, but also for the powerful insight into the perennial problem of prejudice.
