Ashbourne will be joining millions in the UK to take part in Christmas Jumper Day on Friday 11th December to raise money for Save the Children.
Established in 1919, Save the Children has helped improve the lives of children through better education, health care, and economic opportunities, as well as providing emergency aid in natural disasters, war, and other conflicts.
On Friday 11th December, we are encouraging everyone to wear a jumper and donate at least £1 (there are collection points at the reception of three buildings). We will be awarding prizes for different jumpers throughout the day. We are hoping to see your most garish and silly jumpers. Hint: you will get extra points for anything which lights up.
You can also donate directly on the "Save the Children" website: https://www.savethechildren.org.uk/christmas-jumper-day/about
Share this with your friends and family.
