Clubs, Subject Clinics and Programmes 2020/21

Ashbourne's clubs, subject clinics and programmes are back!⠀

These clubs offer a variety of activities representing the diverse interests of our student body. New students are highly encouraged to participate in these clubs, make new friends, broaden their knowledge and celebrate Ashbourne's diversity.⠀

Ashbourne College Clubs and Activities
From the UK Maths Challenge Club to the United Nations Debate (MUN) Club, these activities have attracted great interest from our students over the years. It is not just an opportunity to get to know other students, teachers and staff but also to equip students with valuable transferrable skills e.g. teamwork, communication, leadership and awareness of current social and political issues.
The Game Development Club is another highlight. Founded by our Computer Science students and alumni last year, the club celebrated its success with two games developed with Javascript - "Pong" and "Natural Selection Simulation". You can find the latest updates on the club's activities and progress on their dedicated Computing Blogs.
All clubs will take place between 1 and 2 pm, except for Film Club, which takes place after school.⠀

Clubs will be run on a first-come, first-serve basis, with an agreed maximum number of students allowed to attend at any one time, so ensure to turn up on time to guarantee your place.⠀

Secure your place by emailing our Activities Officer, Olivia, at [email protected].
