Eurotrip – Barcelona 2018

For this year's Eurotrip, we took our students to Barcelona for a culturally enriching week away. During their trip, they walked around the Gothic Quarter, which is the cultural hub of the city. The Gothic Quarter is surrounded by beautiful squares (plaças) and commercial areas like Plaça Reial and La Boqeria market, which is located in Las Ramblas, a must visit street in Barcelona. They visited the Picasso Museum and watched Barcelona vs Getafe at Camp Nou, one of the world's most famous football stadiums. The students went on a very exciting Segway Tour, which some say was the best part of the trip. They also visited the Sagrada Familia, designed and built by Antoni Guadí, who's architecture can be found all over Barcelona. The beautiful architecture is truly breathtaking. They had the opportunity to experience an authentic and classic Flamenco dancing class, which was a lot of fun. They also visited Park Güell and had dinner while watching a live Flamenco performance. Overall, our students had an amazing time and has to chance to experience Barcelona's culture at it's finest. They have come back with good memories and amazing stories to tell.
