Graphics students visit a Video games Exhibition at the V&A

Our Graphics students attended the Video Game Exhibition at the Victoria & Albert Museum last week. The exhibition provided a unique insight into the design process behind a selection of groundbreaking contemporary video games in the 21st century. Design work, including concept art and prototypes, feature alongside large-scale immersive installations and interactive. Our purpose was to fulfil students’ knowledge and explore the video game making in the 21st century: the design, culture and digital technologies. To inspire and collect primary resources from the exhibition. To experience in person, develop and apply themselves to advanced media and technologies, especially digital software and programmes. Students also had the opportunity to meet with professionals in the field as well as play a variety of games.
