Lord Lexden visits Ashbourne College

On Thursday 9th of October, Ashbourne College was delighted to host Lord Lexden, the Conservative peer and distinguished historian. Lord Lexden gave a lunchtime talk to an enthusiastic group of A-Level students about the role of the House of Lords and its future. The students raised some interesting issues about the House and its possible reform, and everyone agreed that the event gave us all an invaluable insight into Britain's political constitution.
