UCAS

January 21, 2014

The Universities and Colleges Admission Service, also known as UCAS, helps students to consider different courses and universities in the UK to pick the optimal choice. In addition, UCAS is a portal that allows students to fill in an application for university and then track their progress once the application process is complete. Through the UCAS website students can apply to five courses.

The UCAS website has incredible resources for sixth form students, including trends in the UK application process, information on the different subjects of study, the requirements for each course, and finally information on how to complete the application itself. The UCAS application includes a personal statement that is an opportunity for students to explain their plans for university and accomplishments during their studies. The UCAS website is full of tips on the optimal way for students to provide a complete view of themselves in their personal statement, from their academic A level and GCSE results to their personal lives and interests in London.
