Ashbourne student Verena Koay performing at the Royal College of Music!

We’re never short of good news to share about our student’s achievements, and we’re especially proud to announce that one of our very talented musicians will be playing at the Royal College of Music this weekend!
Verena Koay joined Ashbourne College in September, and has been a wonderful addition to the music department. She began playing the violin at just 3 years old, and by the age of 7, she was playing at an exceptional level.
Verena is hoping to go on to study at the Royal College of Music, and we think they would be incredibly lucky to have her. She will be playing as part of the symphony this weekend, and we’re sure it won’t be long before she is invited back for a solo performance!
Here she is playing Tango Por Una Cabeza by John WIlliams with a piano accompaniment.
