Music and Drama Auditions at Ashbourne Sixth Form College

Performing arts are thriving at Ashbourne College, and continue to go from strength to strength. Drama has increased in popularity over the last few years, and has produced some incredibly students. In 2014, two groups of A-level Drama and Theatre Studies students took productions to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, and have since gone on to work on a variety of projects. Our music department also continues to grow. Ashbourne music students often provide the soundtrack to events such as art exhibitions and showcases, as well as take part in an annual chamber concert held at various venues. Mike Kirby is our commander and chief. Mike founded Ashbourne College in 1981 and has since presided over its continuing academic development and growth in reputation. Hope you’re all well & enjoying the start of term. Wow! we’ve got lots of fun activities for a level students, and most of them are starting this week. Make the most of them; come to as many clubs as possible, and then decide what you’re going to stick with. You never know, you might drop by Italian club and discover it changes your life. UCAS Explained Evening 26th September at 6:30pm – For Parents/Guardians

This event is designed to offer parents an insight into the process and into how the UCAS (University and Colleges Admissions Service) operates. It will consist of a short seminar followed by a question and answer session. Please feel welcome to come along to this event to find out more about the university application procedure. Refreshments will be provided. This year’s event will take place on Thursday 26th September 2013 at 6:30pm  (Kensigton Close Hotel). London Academy Of Trading Seminar at Ashbourne College

If you are a A Level student  interested in applying to LSE or are interested in studying Economics/Finance/Banking at university or indeed looking to build a career in any of the above then you may find this seminar useful. A trader from the academy will be visiting the College on WEDNESDAY 25TH SEPTEMBER at 1PM to give an overview of what it is like to work in the industry.
