Ashbourne Admissions

Ashbourne welcomes ambitious and hardworking students from all over the world who will benefit from the exceptional individual attention, support and choice we offer to help them reach their potential.

High expectations and excellent results

Ashbourne is an academically demanding private college in London that selects students following interview and academic assessments. The college’s friendly and informal approach aims to provide each applicant with the best available advice on all options at A level and GCSE, without obligation. All prospective students are either interviewed by the Principal or a senior member of staff.

How to apply

The admission process is straightforward and our admissions team are very friendly, efficient and helpful, so please do not hesitate to contact us.

Admissions process

1. Complete the enquiry form below.

2. Provide copies of the last two sets of academic reports (if the applicant only has the last set, then they should just send these).

3. Provide copies of GCSE grades or predicted grades (or equivalent) to study at A level.

4. Write a personal statement of achievements, interests and ambitions (500 words).

5. Provide a photocopy of passport and, for international students, the UK visa page (if they have one already).

6. Contact our admissions officer for a consultation (must be the applicant).

Documents need to be scanned and sent via email.

Once the applicant has done this and we have received at least some documents in reference to the above points, we may then organise an academic interview at the college. Note that the applicant could also be asked to take an admissions test, which may be subject specific. If the applicant wants to study Drama and Theatre studies they will be asked to attend an audition. Similarly, applicants hoping to study Art related subjects (Fine Art, Graphic Communication or Textiles) may be asked to provide samples of their previous work.

Please contact us if you wish to discuss any details or have other queries on +44 (0) 20 7937 3858 or email admissions@ashbournecollege.co.uk.
