Computer science students enter game design competition!

Our computer science students have been very busy of late! At the end of last year, a student studying A level computer science made it into the UK Beaver Computer Challenge Hall of Fame. Now we have teams of both A level and GCSE students busy designing a game as part of the UK Team Game Development Competition!

Some of our students did a fantastic job representing Ashbourne College when they took part in UKMT Maths Challenges recently. Now we have even more great news, but this time, it’s related to computing challenges! UK Bebras run contests which focus on computational and logical thinking. Their questions are inspired by topics in computer science, and out of over 39,000 entries, an Ashbourne College student made it into the Hall of Fame!
