To start off the upcoming ’14/15 year with a bang Ashbourne has arranged two amazing trips to the theatre in the first few weeks of term. If you’re looking forward to seeing our former students in ‘Case Number’ at Edinburgh Fringe this summer, you should also keep your eyes peeled for this… Dare to laugh at abortion? A controversial dark comedy about abortion for our postmodern time… ‘Viable’, a newly devised postmodern theatre production, challenges and questions the representation of abortion, one of societies most delicate subject matters. In case you missed the news last week, some of our extremely talented former students have landed spots to perform at Edinburgh Fringe this summer! Here’s what you have to look forward to….. Introducing Case Number, a new play which bravely attempts to shatter the patriarchal shame culture that surrounds sexual assault against women.
