1. Do international students need a visa to study at Ashbourne?
Yes. All international students, including those from the EU and EEA, must apply for a Student or Child Student visa. Ashbourne issues a CAS (Certificate of Acceptance for Studies) once fees are paid and documents are approved, which is required for the visa application.
2. Does Ashbourne provide accommodation for students?
We do not offer our own on-site accommodation, but there are many excellent options nearby. Students can choose from supervised student houses, homestays with local families, or private rental arrangements, all within easy reach of the college’s Kensington location.
3. What English language support does Ashbourne offer?
International students benefit from a dedicated English language programme, including weekly lessons. The College also has a speak-English-on-campus policy, helping students gain fluency and confidence.
4. What academic results do Ashbourne students achieve?
Our students consistently perform at the highest level. In 2024/25, 52% of results were either A or A*, with 100% A*A in Fine Art. Over 60% progress to Russell Group universities, including Cambridge, Imperial, and LSE.
