Private College Fees
Ashbourne College London

Fees

Ashbourne is one of the most expensive independent (private) colleges in London, providing very small classes, lots of teaching time and excellent facilities. It is beautifully situated in Kensington, close to Kensington Gardens, and offers one of the most attractive locations of any school in London. Its premises are excellent and the College is continually improving the environment in which students learn.

The College has many large departments, for example in mathematics, science, English literature and economics, but believes that diversity is one of its strengths. This is expressed in the range of interests, ambitions and personalities of its students as well as the variety of subjects offered at the College.

Ashbourne is also one of the most selective independent colleges in London, with a cohort of well-motivated and enthusiastic students.  We insist that all students attain a reasonable standard in their first-year examinations before proceeding to their second A-level year.  Most students do indeed achieve this, and, through our Personal Tutor system, we are always working to ensure that students realise their potential and perform as well as they possibly can.

Scholarships

Ashbourne relies entirely on the fees paid by its clients. Its finances are strong and it generates realistic profits each year which it uses to improve and expand its business as well as reward its shareholders.  Although Ashbourne does not have charitable status, it offers financial support to many of its students who otherwise would not be able to afford its fees.  There is no ceiling on the scholarships and bursaries that the College awards, which amount to roughly £500,000 each year. Ashbourne is always willing to consider reducing fees for students with outstanding academic merit and supports its commitment to diversity with many valuable scholarships for music, drama and the performing arts.

We are always willing to consider helping students with financial need and exceptional academic ability.  Such students should contact Admissions (admissions@ashbournecollege.co.uk) and apply in the usual way to the College.  We carefully consider all applications, testing and interviewing all students in order to evaluate their aptitudes and potential.
