Ashbourne is a private sixth form college in London and offers A Level courses in three different formats: 2-year courses, 1-year courses and 18-month courses.
Students can apply to Ashbourne for a traditional September start succeeded by a two-year course and while this is a popular choice for many students, Ashbourne aims at providing flexibility in course length: many students at Ashbourne have opted for a January start and a subsequent 18-month course, and equally, some students have found that a single-year A level course works best for them.
Ashbourne caters for students from a variety of different circumstances, whether they are looking to change schools after their AS year; or whether they are looking to repeat their A Levels in a single year to improve their grade; or indeed, whether they are simply looking to do their A Levels in the conventional two-year format.
Ashbourne’s flexibility in course length is reflective of the college’s attitude to catering for the individual student’s personal needs.
