Carmen is unique amongst aspiring Art College students at Ashbourne in that she is a keen philosopher. During her time at Ashbourne she has been an important member of our extra-curricular course in Critical Theory and was able to absorb the theories of a diverse range of thinkers from Freud to Althusser.

Nam Long joined Ashbourne from Vietnam to pursue an eighteen-month A-level course in Biology, Chemistry and Maths. He is interested in the techniques and developments in medicine but is also very conscious and concerned about the ethical issues involved in much scientific development.
