Easter Revision GCSE subjects

Ashbourne has been running a comprehensive programme of Easter Revision courses for more than thirty years. We offer a selection of subjects at GCSE taught by Ashbourne teachers. Students will benefit from their excellent teaching style, experience and attention to the needs of individual students, which is a key feature of the Easter Revision programme at the college.

Courses run over five days in either morning (10am – 1pm) or afternoon (2 – 5pm) sessions. GCSE Science is a full-day course that runs in both morning and afternoon sessions. We also offer individual tuition.

My son came home happy every evening, and left happy in the morning. He has only positive things to say about the course, feels much better prepared and absolutely loved his teacher!

AM – 10am–1pm or  PM – 2-5pm

English Literature (Edexcel)

This Easter Revision course runs for Ashbourne students only. The  texts covered in this course include:

Shakespeare and Post-1914 Literature
19th-century Novel and Poetry since 1789

French (Edexcel)

This course covers the higher tier for GCSE French. The themes covered in this course, within the context of the four language skills – speaking, listening, reading and writing – include:

  • International and global dimension
